Mill Youth Project
The Mill Youth Project is in operation since 2010.  It is run by local volunteers. We meet weekly on a Monday evening in the Mill Family Resource Centre, Main Street, Urlingford, Co. Kilkenny.  Every Monday 5-6.45pm and 7-8.30pm.  We do a range of different activities like Arts, Crafts, Soccer, Dodge ball, Cookery and Outings.

For the last number of years the Senior Group along with several volunteers organised a Haunted House which was opened to the public on Halloween Night. The kids came up with the concept for each of the six rooms in the house, designed them, decorated them and then played their own roll within each of them on Halloween night.  It was a fantastic success and we are in the process of doing it again this year with even more rooms.

Senior group members are very keen on art and participated in major projects in 2013 about the history of Urlingford from the 17th Century to now.  Detailed pictures were painted on walls across from the local National School and were donated towards the Gathering for 2013.

This year we look forward to linking in with other youth groups and taking part in new activities and youth programmes.
